Katharine Fountain

Somewhere between the swirling synth nostalgia of ODESZA and the glitched-out sensuality of early Flume lies Katharine Fountain, a Halifax-born producer and electronic artist crafting her own brand of emotional maximalism. With roots stretching from New York City’s late-night neon haze to the DIY heartbeat of Toronto, Fountain builds soundscapes that pulse like a bruised heart under club lights - tender, anxious, and a little bit defiant.

Her upcoming project, the Dark Days EP, feels like a journal scribbled at 3AM: all glassy-eyed confessions and raw nerves, wrapped in hypertextured production. It's a love letter to young womanhood at its most vulnerable and wired. Mental health unravelings, romantic collisions, and quiet resilience are all filtered through her meticulous sound design and crystalline voice, every drop and vocal fracture calibrated for catharsis.

With her first full solo release slated for 2026, Fountain isn’t rushing. Instead, she’s simmering - letting her sound evolve, swell, and slowly seep into the bloodstream of a scene always hungry for something that aches just right.
